Pimobendan is a calcium sensitizer with positive inotropic and vasodilator properties. It selectively inhibits phosphodiesterase 3 and is commonly used to manage heart failure in dogs caused by myxomatous mitral valve disease or dilated cardiomyopathy. This tablet has a beef flavor.
