Product Description
Apoquel Chewable is an innovative oral treatment specifically designed to provide rapid relief for dogs suffering from itch and inflammation associated with allergic dermatitis. Unlike traditional treatments, this chewable tablet goes straight to the source to address the underlying cause of irritation and soothe allergic reactions at their core. Demonstrated to control allergic pruritus within 24 hours, it offers a fast-acting solution for both short-term flare-ups and long-term allergy management.
Many pet owners struggle to identify when an itch becomes a medical concern. If your dog exhibits frequent licking, chewing, biting, or scratching, or if you notice hair loss, recurrent ear problems, or changes in the skin such as redness and scabs, it may be time for a targeted intervention. Apoquel is not a steroid, antihistamine, or cyclosporine; instead, it belongs to a unique category of medications that block allergic itch at the source without many of the side effects often associated with other treatments.
Key Benefits:
- Fast-acting relief from allergic dermatitis within 24 hours.
- Ideal for both short-term relief and long-term maintenance.
- Easy-to-administer chewable formulation that can be given with or without food.
- Can be used alongside many other common medications, including parasiticides, antibiotics, and vaccines.
Important Safety Information:
Do not use in dogs less than 12 months of age or those with serious infections. This medication may increase the chances of developing serious infections and may cause existing parasitic skin infestations or pre-existing cancers to worsen. It has not been tested in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs. The most common side effects reported are vomiting and diarrhea. Always consult your veterinarian for a complete health assessment and follow their specific dosage instructions.
